Lights in povray

I have read the manual and tried a number of things to get the lights to work for me but I can't seen to get it to work? The menu tab for pov-ray has options for lights but they don't work.

BTW I am using SU7, could that be the problem?

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
