i think the best way we can learn from so many masters here is that they upload their sketchup models with the Vray setting that they used (the ones they dont mind sharing
) we newbies can learn very fast from studying those settings and methods used. -
And what if someone doesn't use Vray? There are o many other rendering applications out there...

Stick around the Gallery. When you see a image you like. Ask what renderer it is and if it is Vray ask for the settings. Many users do this. Eventually you'll be able to be more specific, for example--"What setting did you use to get the windows to look so realistic?", which might work better to elicit a response.
