great... I didn't know that... but can this be done with normal text (not 3D), because I want it not to rotate when I change view in the animation (or can I just rotate the "core" in some way). And how can I make smoother transitions?

i dont think its possible to change the shape of text, but you could use solos method and make the text a face me component with the axis in the centre of the text. the text will then always point at the camera.

Oh forgot to ask, which plugin are you using there solo?

Jean Franco,
The text is in SU using this , I explode the text component and makes groups of the individual letters. I then create a surface for the letters to drop on and make it a group. I select all the letters and right click so that the menu window opens, I scroll down to the script and ...viola! -
Dear Solo, may I ask you to be abit more explicit.
Your video is too fast and it's difficult to see what you're doing exactly.
I don't understand how you do create the text 2D, 3D ?
Then how do you use the script ?
Text and the surface should be groups, components ?
Many thanks for you help.PS: I got it now !
