SU7 OSX Maxwell render material question

I am having trouble transfering my custom made skm library to SU7 ( HD/library/SU7/etc folder)
When i'm creating a new skm, it does not appear like the other skm ( with .exe icon) but blank icon instead, and i'm having troubles with maxwell render intereaction since i moved partially to SU7 ( renders are failing, and textures are missing..)Would like to know how you are organised with textures folder in SU and MR so it works flawlessly within SU plugin using the automxm feature!
would also like to understand the difference in how skm's are organised and saved as compare to SU6..nothing is explained so far..thnx
