Sorry Ray for sort-of hijacking this part of the topic but ...

The Great Wall car manufacturer in China is like the GM of China. It produces all sorts of look-alikes and old cars with new faces and gives them all sorts of badges.

Like what GM is doing with the Volt concept. Yes, they are even re-badging their concepts now and we can tell where that’s heading. The Volt is just a Honda Accord design with some fancy grilles; they built the concept under Chevrolet, Holden and Opel. Hey...One for each region. So I guess they will have, yet another, midsized sedan to re-badge under the 3 or more and it will continue to not make them any money.

Gm is trying to make itself look big by doing this and all its doing is making it look stupid and loosing it lots of money.

That’s my rant finished for now...

      Ray & others,

I hope this isn't thread jack and I know there are a zillion great links out there but this one caught my eye - dig down on this link and you can find some really cool cars - one of them really reminded me of one of Ray's recent cars - very cool stuff.

This one - a slight resemblance to two of your later models - got me thinking:

Wow Ray, that’s an amazing design. The front reminds me of an Ascari KZ1. The motion blur render looks really good but I am not sure those wheels are right for such a modern design. They look as if they belong on an old Coupe or Roadster.

BTW, my Trojan Cobra is done: http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=12931&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=240

                  Nice renders Ray!
Improved a lot since your first renders.

BTW I couldn't get Hypershot working. My PC is to slow I think! 😢

It looks even better with a rear bumper.

Ray..I have noticed that a lot of cars are completed with no lines for doors, hood, trunk...Can you tell us how you cut those in and make them open..

                            Thank You

Okay, first to make the "lines" you have to use either the Tools on Surface plug in, or you can intersect a shape that is in a group that is extruded. To open them you basicly use the rotate tool to make the doors open at a certain angle.

                                        Hey Ray,

To be honest with you: Her butt is too fat.
The trunk is bigger then the engine bay, I think it should be the other way around.
Long nose and a short butt.

EduardoNL, I do believe it is mid engine but yes, she does have a fat ass. It must be carrying a huge engine.

I think it’s a great design and my wheels do look good on it 😄 but even if it had a W16 in the back it still looks a little too big...
