Would a bunch of 2.5d bushes of this ilk...
-
...trip any triggers? Needs, wants, desires, suggestions please...?

Absolutely love them! a variety of colors and about 6 shapes (low spreading ground cover, medium ground cover, round shrub, upright shrub, hedge, collumnar) and you could landscape everything with great accuracy and a lot of fun! I can sketch you up some shapes if you would like, or attach some photos.

What bushes?

Back at the topic, yes Tom, good idea.
-
Absolutely, Bob...I work for you guys now, right?!? :`) Seriously: yes please.
Yea Pete...still don't know why nobody commented on this dude:
-
Actually, I think I could get on a roll pretty quickly: minimal trunks and all. Whadaya think...still in the ballpark?:
-
tom the more I think about it these are perfect we can scale , stretch or squish them into the shapes needed, I think with a little work (or fun) you could create a whole collection of shrubs for your 2.5 collection and make a little money. The foliage is the biggest thing that needs variety, color and texture, the size and shape thing can be handeled after the fact by the modeler. attached a sketch of shapes anyway.
PS what is her name and which 2.5 tree group is she in, I might have to buy the other one.

These look great so far tom look forward to watching your progress on this

Okay, Guys, I'll get on it.
In the meantime, Bob (thanks a bunch BTW for the sketches), you can use the suckers (small letter "s" in the file name) in the sets you have to get by...just lower them into the ground until you loose as much trunk as you want to loose. Did the same to create these makeshift hedges:
I'll work the new stuff up so is different than the suckers so you can still do this with them too for more variety. I think I'll try to add a blossom/berry layer and pngs on every one so you can turn that colorful on and off as you need...? -
Hye that guy next to the building is shady!! Is that where the girl lives? Women hate being stalked, well I don't know that for sure but assume so as they always call the police on me!
Hey Tom I have to ask (one would think I know by now after all these years) what do you mean 2.5D ????

Hey, Richard...the short answer :`) the long answer is longer than downloading one and playing with it (': http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=16790#p132954

Hmmm? thanks for the linked explanation! Still not quite sure - I tried to find anything of a download to check it out though all led to a dead end!

I suggest you forget the vegetation and instead create a series of Face-Me people components capable of distracting clients from paying too much attention to the lack of details in a project... It would be a life saver!

First off: sorry, Guys, can't sell my scale-chick: she was a freebee from somewhere...besides, isn't it against the law to sell women? (Though maybe I should listen to the market and make some similar components :`)
My tree-tech has always been intimidated by ground cover, since stacking pngs gets pretty tall pretty fast...but seeing Bob's tree scaling ( http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=17480#p139918 ) right before bedtime must have lit a dim bulb, 'cause just did a quick vertical scale first thing this morning and am pleased. Just have to see how much I can reduce the number and size of the pngs so they won't burden SU the same as a fullgrown tree.

Tom - I am getting excited! I see huge potential with this... as soon as the planting plan gets finished I am going to try a full landscape with you ground covers, shrubs, and trees... look for it in a week or so!
