Video hosting service: which is the best?
-
I believe vimeo is pretty good, really depends what sort of quality you need, though.
What sort of length as well? theres a limit on youtube.
-
just average stuff. my intention is to produce short tutorials (under 5 minutes).
-
I agree Vimeo offers best quality, Google video and You tube both compress too far and cause the quality to deteriorate.
-
Yes, Vimeo is the way to go.
-
Blip.tv doesn't seem to be too bad either.
-
reporting on my first tests with youtube and vimeo: all uploads to youtube worked immediately, to vimeo i had to upload several times to have sound and image synchronized. this is not say one is better than the other, though. my data is still too slim...
-
Edson, did you try blip.tv?
-
no, dave, but i certainly will. and picasa, too. thanks.
-
dave, i just uploaded a short video to blip.tv and it went smoothly. very clean interface and very practical to use. i'll let you know how it goes as i use it more intensively.
-
Good news. I've had very good luck with it. I hope you do as well.
Dave
