      If you group a series of objects and wish to move them vertically by .088m could some one please explain how to do it in sketchup 7? in 6 it was simply holding down the up key that locked it to the blue vertical but that factor has gone in version 7, you could also lock onto a vertical line on any part and lock to that - it has also gone in V7.

            sorry Gaieus - I didn't expect such a fast reply at 4 am πŸ˜„
            I should have realised the problem earlier - damn glue πŸ˜„ I just wanted to move the whole model up but there was a component with glue on so it wouldn't budge.

              This is a common "mistake" (if we can call it like that). Sometimes it's even performed in really unexpected situations when for instance a group created "on the fly" glues onto a face. See attached example.
