BbURL: Linkifier Bookmarklet

The purpose of this bookmarklet is to make it a little easier to create links when posting on this forum.

It prompts for a URL, then creates a bbcode URL from the selected text in the message editor.

To install, go to this page, then drag the [bbURL] link to your Bookmarks Toolbar.

Works on FireFox only, for now.

To use:

• copy to the clipboard, the address (url) of the page you want to link.
• select the text in the message to use as the link text.
• Press the bbURL bookmarklet, and paste the URL at the prompt.
• press ENTER (or click OK)

Saves a little work when linking. Feedback appreciated.

Hehe... It works!
(Especially handy on forums where you need to type the bbCodes in instead of just clicking on them).
