SketchUp can play sounds
-
This may old news or silly to some folks, but I just found a post on the API blog about SU playing sounds.
Go visit "the worlds lamest zoo."

Made me laugh,
UPDATE: A little warning, after I took a look at the Zoo, I loaded another file with scenes.
Scene one roared, scene 2 trumpeted. You'll need to remove the ruby to make it go away...

[blink]hmmmm....[/blink] [marquee]might be useful in a tutorial or something?[/marquee]

With that script can you add your own sound files?
-
Well, the Homer is an Easter egg AFAIK - still shows the possibility.

I think the homer is a script written by Jim, not an easter egg. It can be found here:
http://sketchuptips.blogspot.com/2008/01/plugin-homer-button.html
and probably should not be uploaded directly to this thread due to the forum's policy of not having people post scripts that are not their own. But a link to Jim's page should do the trick,

Yes, I know the plugin to play Homer by pressing the button was written by Jim but AFAIK he used an Easter egg (maybe it was something else though). I'm just too lazy to ask
