    Has anybody else come across this?
    The tree or trees wont stay where i put them.
    I know, I know, Im probly doing something stupid.
    Can anyone put me straight?

    Initial placement of componentafter rotation

      Typical, just after I posted, I realised the problem.....
      .... component axis and placement was off in one corner, so of course it rotated around that point... duh!

        Baz, had me goin' a bit frantic till I read the thread...hope that wasn't me placed it in the wrong spot! If so sorry; there were some similar errors on my part when I switched from posting files with face-me's in them to files configured to insert as face-me's :`(

        Hey, hope you're safe: news story about your fires showed a highway direction sign to Melbourne...? Sounds pretty scary over there!?!

          Thanks Tom, I think Ive worked it out, Ive been a bit lazy with component axis til now....

          Re the fires: we are ok here, but about 50 miles away its horrific, death tool is now 220 and climbing, several small towns have literally ceased to exist, places that I know, I'm having trouble getting my head around it.
          I was in the 'Ash Wednesday' fires of '83 where we had a firestorm moving at 68mph, what happened on Sunday was worse, people just did not have time to get away.
          And it's not over yet.
