      nomeradona,
I look forward to seeing your pictures every day -- no fancy equipment or post processing could match your photographer's keen eye for composition. I think you could probably take great pictures with an ancient brownie box camera.

                Fantastic shots Mateo.
I'm so inspired by all this great photography and grateful to 'nomer' for starting the forum. Hopefully, others will share their work.
Mateo, I'm still searching for Croatian wine. I had a chance to try some Mexican wine recently and, well, lets just say they have a ways to go.

Sepo, I love the phone shot. What an amazing world we live in.

@mateo i am enjoying those landscapes. with your watchful eye, the composition of each picture is jsut excellent. your use of landscape textures and lines is indeed worth mentioning. hope to see some more.

@sid, is that just using camera phone. i think its time for you to buy a dslr camera. the landscape looks like a clayrender. more sid more.

@ esspresso, i am a fan of you with your series. the texture created by the buildings is just phenomenal. and the movement of hue from bottom right to left is pretty amazing.

Thank you all for your kind words.Of course I am a designer and just an amateur photographer. When I am am away from my computer I just cant sit still,I have to create something, so this is the thing I do sometimes. Go around with my amateur Olympus digital mu 500 and take these shots. mostly they are taken in panorama mode and stitched later on on my computer.

I agree and I would also love to see some unusual spots around the world where you guys live.
Now the first set was from the island where we have a small summer house.
This second set is a complete different scenery. Its about three hours drive from my home in the mountains. I am not really familiar with this scenery ,the sea is more my scene.

You might want to look at the Canon G10 - about $410 from Amazon or BH Photovideo. I get tired of toting my heavy DSLR around and just got one. Has almost all the features of the Canon DSLR including equiv. 28 to 140 mm zoom lens. Very nice and extensive control features on the camera so you don't have to mess with menus. 3" live view screen too, and 14.7 Mpixels. It will fit in a big pocket too.

                                          Enjoying all the pictures.

Mateo, I like the peaceful feel of your shots and the definition, particularly the water shots. Feel like swimming... or just staring. I assume that's the Dalmatian coast?? We have a rocky place like that in California (Point Lobos). In fact, a number of your landscape shots could be California scenes, with similar vegetation and hills.

DE: "Guanajuato" is a very nice composition and grabs the mood of Mexico.

Nom: All great shooting. (Do you still call it Saigon?)

                                          Thank you all for posting.
