Is there a resource for dimensional lumber profiles that can be used to pull into a model to stretch, scale, and adjust to fit the application?

      Tx.

        Hi Chuck,

What exactly are these dimensional lumbers? (And couldn't you yourself create them from scratch and re-use them as components later?)

            Hi Chuck,

I se now. I don't know of such a library or collection of omponents but it should be es to make yourself - after all they ar all based on certain, simple, rectangular shapes.

You could create 2x4, 2x6, 4x4 etc. rectangles, Push/Pull them to a certain height and make them a component.
Now when you need any of them, pull it in from the component browser and with the scale tool, scale the length to the desired, custom length within your current model. From then on, you can just copy them around and they will all retain their custom sizes.

I am running vista and when I "save target as" the link for the plugin it when to a compatibilities file. I relocated to the plugins folder but the ruby doesn't load when SU is re-opened. 😢
