Stage plot

I just downloaded sKetchup today. All I really need to do create a stage plot for an artist I'm touring with. A friend suggested this program. Are there any stage plot templates available so I can quickly complete this task, or do I have to I have to neglect the dogs, the laundry, the trash, my taxes, bills, and everything else to fumble around and start from scratch. Keep in mind- I am a bass player. Thanks

I dont know of any templates, although it shouldnt be too hard to knock it up from scratch in SU.
A few tips: go camera->standard views->top to get a top down view. camera->parallel projection to get everything flat.
Then just draw away with the rectangle tool using move and rotate to get the blocks where you want.
For text: tools->text, and then to get rid of the leader: right click the text->leader->hidden

You might be able to find a useable stage model in the 3dwarehouse.
It might help, unless you're making something super custom,
