Hi Sid,
Thanks
(though by the time I got here it had already been dealt with).
You can always use that little triangle icon next to the Quote button (top right of a post) to "report" a it. It will highlight it for the mods in the topic list as well as we can see it in the moderator control panel > reported posts list and can quickly kick the spammer's @rse outa here. -
Hi Gaieus
Good to know about the report button. I could only see Mateo so I emailed him.

How to make an animation that will last about thirty seconds and will rotate the camera angle around my project. My friend needs an answer to this question for a school project. "How to make an animation that will last about thirty seconds and will rotate the camera angle around my project."

Hi Stallina (and welcome)
Do you mean an animation in the "Walkabout" software or SketchUp?
-
I don't get this "Walkabout" thing.
what does it actually solve? It doesn't render the sun right?
So it is not exactly a solution for the Sketchup shadow bug...or did I miss something? -
Thanks for your answer.
I was searching for a 'shadow bug' solution for quick animations.
Google should really fix it. -
Walkabout 3D could be useful for client viewing in realtime with the aid of their Viewer. Pity there is not a Mac version but thye say they are working on one.

Have you installed it and had a play? It obviously needs a bit of refining but it lets you walkaround an SU model in realtime, or as an avatar. The movement is very smooth, the shadows aren't good though. I can see the potential for it though. One of the demo files has a model of a pond in it with an animated displacement map of water, but I couldn't work out how they did that.
