      hi
i'm trying to apply a wooden kerkythea texture to a subdivided shape that i made
and the result is texture applied to each triangulated faces of the geometry.
is there a way to smooth out the textures?

Hi Nightzombie and welcome (nice name BTW 😉 )

I see that you already have hidden geometry turned on. Now right click on any of the facets, go to Texture > Position and do nothing just hit Enter.

Now with the Paint bucket tool activated, press and hold the Alt key (the Paint tool will turn into an eyedropper / sampler) and click on the same facet you positioned the texture on.

Now turn off hidden geometry and paint your surface. Note however that if it curves in several directions, you may still have some minor problems.

Then instead of positioning, select the "Projected" option instead.
