I haven't seen the tutorial, but I can venture a solution.

        1. Use the drawhelix13 plugin (http://www.crai.archi.fr/RubyLibraryDepot/Ruby/drawhelix13.rb) to draw a single helix. It has a menu.
        2. Explode the group that the plugin built
        3. Draw a shape to represent the profile of your slide surface at the tip of the curve
        4. Select the helix curve, use the Follow-me tool ( ), and click in the profile.

        Hope it helps!

Hi jzer7, im so sorry i just noticed i haven't replied to you. Thanks a lot coz the one you gave has been useful. But I still didn't get it quite right. My slide looks funny. πŸ˜† Can you help me fix it? (see attached) The gradient is just nice, its just that the other side is higher, can we keep it to 499mm. If you have time, please show me how u do it. Would love to learn it. Thanks! I really appreciate it!

Here is the one I made for your PM (but there you said 1573mm!)
You can always change the height by

            • double clicking to edit the group
            • selecting the tp surface
            • clicking on the Move tool
            • hitting the up or down arrow (to lock the move on the Z axis)
            • moving the top to the desired height / by the desired distance
