        Hi Squirrel, hi folks.

Hide a side or two or the roof or the bottom. Use layers to control the visibility of entities. That way, you can hide or show more than one with a single click.

Once done, unhide what you hid in first place.

Use Scenes to memorise you position and point of vue (camera position). Then you are a single click away from any spot you want. Use meaningfull names for the scenes instead of Scene 1, Scene 2, etc. It is easier with name like "Kitchen", "Living Room", "Basement", etc.

You may also memorise the visibility of layers with scenes.

        Just ideas.

You just need practice, I use the middle button to do my rotating. If I middle click and the pointer is not on the object I want to rotate around it will be on the background and THAT is what makes it go all over the place.

In other words, there is nothing wrong with the rotating, it's just that you need practice and to be careful.

You can also use section planes to temporarily hide some of your model.

Hazza, I think Squirrel does not mean "Orbiting"

              but "Rotating"

Squirrel, the best would be to group your geometry (all that logically belongs together) and rotate it that way. This also goes for the "Move" tool

              Gai...
