Google SketchUp TeamCan you give us more details and tips of how this Vector rendering subjetc works, and what advantages can we get from using it ?

Vector rendering renders the inserted SU models as vector objects (clean, sharp resolution independent lines) rather than raster images. The main advantage is that its faster than using raster mode.
-
Also, you can snap different objects (lines, arrows etc) to the vctor parts of your inserted SU model.
Another thing is that if you explode your vector based model, you can handle the separate lines independently (i.e. add different lineweights / dashes or colours to them).
Hopefully, this (the ability to snap to the SU vectorwork) will also lead to a dimensioning tool in LO one day, as I understand it is one of the top priority feature requests by many LO users.

Using a vector rendering also generates page size independent output. So the size of
an exported PDF will be the same no matter what size the page is. The line quality will
also stay the same no matter the page size.
