        Hi West,

Have you complete it in CAD or SU? And what exactly is out of scale?

          Hi

Well I got a CAD 2004 dxf file and was asked to make a 3D model of it…was my first time importing CAD files so I made the mistake of not scaling it when importing…so I manually scaled it using the scale tool…which worked fine but all the textures are acting as if the model is still out of scale…not to mention the camera which…when zoomed in on the model…clips most of the model away …

I need a solution to my stupidity and fast

I guess most of the stuff is grouped and/or components, right? Exploding them would help but you would obviously lose their features.

The only quick and dirty solution that comes into my mind is to go to the material folder > in model and edit each material. There you can change their scale. Try first with one and see if future additions to the model reflect this as well or not. If not, I would re-scale the whole to the original size, finish the model first and do this material edit at the end.

Yeah they are grouped that’s what’s killing me…i just started using these programs this year…but that’s a whole other story…anyway ill try but it’s a massive model so the program might crash again…er any thoughts on how to correct the camera? Its really slowing me down -_-

This is the dreaded clipping bug. This is all that can be said about fixing it:
