That looks rather swanky, nice to see a few more examples though.

One up and more over Maxwell multilights. I wonder though how easy is to make mat sets. What happens when you substitute solid with transparent....also AA looks a bit rough on that image. Saying that what amazing tool.

Won't come cheap either, I imagine. And NL's gonna have to come up with something good.

Personally i think the current version of maxwell looks pretty sweet as it is, especially the atmosphere stuff and SSS. Then again fry isnt exactly lacking in those departments.

Oh, the atmosphere thingy is good. A job well done. Thing with Maxwell is that it's buggy, too buggy for it's price. And bugs don't exactly get squashed swiftly, either.

If I had known this beforehand, I may have gone with Fry. That's not to say Maxwell is bad, though. When it delivers, it delivers quality.

But those bugs ... And the Studio ... I dare anyone to spend a day 'planting' high poly trees (while using cautious settings to not strain the app!) and count the amount of crashes they get. I once had over 60.

Thing is, of course, that the ability to populate a scene with trees and what not is, at least partially, wherein Maxwell's appeal to us 'poly limited' folks lies ...
