Hope for America

I have this theory that with everything else George Bush is to blame for the delay with Sketchup 7.
The first test for BO is whether he can get it out by Christmas.
With the rest of the world I am now looking for forward to resumption of regular annual releases...On a serious note: Congratulations America, you have restored my hope for you!

I thought he only actually got to sit down and get on with being president in january...
Still, we can keep blaming george for a bit longer, i suppose.

It is so interesting that President Bush single handedly with his administration changed the way people outside of America see Americans. Sadly Americans also began to see themselves in a dimly lit light because of the mistakes of our administration.
America is in a strange position and all it will take is one more major incident to push us all over the brink. (That is the bomb that needs to be diffused because one lone act of violence towards our new president will be the inserted variable in the equation to create a police state based on all those who will become angry and respond violently... They will all be classified as terrorists by definition.)
Thank you to everyone around the world who still believe Americans (for lack of a better word)are cool and finally we have come close to the mountain top that was seen by Dr King as well as John Kennedy.
On that note "Bring on SU 7, that's the change I need". -
did not thought about that but it would be possible¡ it scares me deep inside¡
(i mean the tragedy, you **d.alexnine,**point out)
nevertheless this victory must of have been guided by the High and therefore we must have confidence.
no more desilussions¡¡¡ let us hope in confidence
about your concern, toxicvoxel, well, it could of perfectly be -

I don't think it was quite single-handedly. Sure, there were some mistakes, but the news media is largely responsible for shaping the perceptions of events. It's also responsible for deciding what events are covered.
For example, it's more than a little suspicious how this was missed by the media: A well-documented trail showing the Bush Administration was concerned about Fannie and Freddie way back in April 2001 - just 3 months into the first term. Any responsible reporter would have dug in and found the facts, and brought them to light, not just run with Dem sound bites.
Anyway, the current economic situation (regardless of ultimate cause) could steal away hope in a lot of ways, but I'll still hope for SU7 in '09.
