One material two different scales
-
I have a material that is used on multiple planes; in one group the material is the normal scale and in another group the material is scaled only in one direction. If someone knows what the problem is let me know, I don't want to recreate the model again.

Probably one of the goups (or the face inside the group) was scaled in that direction. Unfortunately there is no way to prevent materials from getting scaled with scaled geometry - even if you apply them after scaling.
-
You can right click on the group that is scaled wrong and choose "Make Unique" This will make it a new component. Then right click on it and choose "Scale Definition". That will then re-apply the material to it at the correct scale. Hope that helps,
Chris

Thanks that corrected the problem.

Yes, that's definitely a solution however not very "economic" with component instances.
