nice..these are really really awesome... love the feel they have.. great work.
-
Damn it, I keep forgetting to add some bump to that wall. Ill work with that as soon as I get a free moment. Definately think it will look better. But thanks for the feedback all

Here is a quick animation of the space (well I hate to say quick because it took like 3 days to render on my machine, but oh well). Let me know what you think? Watch in high res for best results.

Really top quality images.
As good as anything I have seen produced in "high-end" 3D programs. As regards the team on the TV...
Well, thats not really "football" anyway. Soccer is the real footballRegards

Football 'soccer' is a real sport? If I remember correctly, American football players don't fall down when they're barely touched... heres an example of the one of the best players in 'soccer' taking a dive...

Steelers05, great animation by the way... it's a shame you can't get the fire place to flicker... or can you?
-
Stellar Steeler,
Jack bird rock that.
These are on.
That said, I must inquire about a deal...
In the Jack bird last image you posted, Is the city scape on the left side of the image suppose to be out a window, or some kind of back lit translight or some action?
Bring me a fresh one, I can't stop myself.
If it's suppose to be a real city out there, you'd never see the horizon from that low vantage point.
Trust me -- spent many an evening in just such a position.
I've see shoes at this angle as well, yours are right on.

aw man, with some better camera paths.. .and maybe some fire motion with sketchupanimate..this'd really be a great animation! not that its not...the feel of the scene is awesome..loving this.. very warm.
-
Thanks for the comments guys. The TV and fire both need to have motion, I just need to find a way to do it. I really havent tried yet. Ive just been letting my maching process the scenes. But when I get a chance I will see what I can come up with. The exterior scene still isnt right, I actually havent changed it at all cause I havent found any images I can use that I like. I want a night, city scene.
But as far as the team, well if you into the NFL all I gotta say is 5 and 1 and one of the best teams in the AFC and nobody can complain about their schedule because it is the toughest one in the league. And to me this is football, not that I dont respect soccer...its just not my thing. Its too boring watching those guys stand around most of the time and only score one or two goals. Puts me to sleep. But I do respect the coordination cause I know I couldnt do anything like that with my feet.

Your design has a nice feel to it, warm and comfortable. I could be very content spending time in this room.
-
Good luck against the Giants this week Steelers05... gonna be your toughest matchup yet...
-
Yes yes it will. Its gonna be a long tough road for us. Im still digging carolina though, I just need to Steve Smith to bust out even more for my fantasy league.
Ranger...thanks for the feedback. I designed the space as kinda just a place I would wana kick back and chill in. Completely fictitout but it looks like somewhere id like for a bachelor pad or something.
-
Smitty has had quality fantasy numbers since he's been back from suspension... what kinda point system are you using in your fantasy league?
-
We only get points for touchdowns and 100 yds games. We dont do puts for like every 10 yards or cathing a 20yd pass. Very simple league but fun.
-
Oh ok... yea we are doing the 1pt for every 10 yards or whatever... I'm 6-1 right in a 16 team league! 16 teams leagues make things more interesting because you actually have to be smart on the waiver wire and who you start but it's a lot of fun.
My team: Starters - Brett Favre, Stephen Jackson, Chris Johnson (R), Deuce McAllister, Reggie Wayne, Antonio Bryant, Chris Cooley, Miami D/ST, and Rob Bironas.
Bench - Donald Driver, Kevin Smith (R), Saints D/ST, Greg Olsen, Steve Breaston, Kerry Collins, and Josh Morgan (R)Who you got?
Sorry to get off topic, but it's fun to talk about this kinda stuff with people other than the ones in my league!
-
Oh yeah i hear ya. We have a 12 person league and we do total points (we dont do head to head each week). And then we get the top 4 at the end of the regular season win money and redraft for the playoffs and then win more money based on how you do. We also only pick on team worth so we dont have a bench. If we dont want a guy, we have to make a transaction and spend money and that guy is then free for anyone else to take. I got: P. Manning, C. Portis, T. Jones, S. Smith, R. White (Atl.), H. Miller, Crosby (Kicker for G.B.), G.B. Coach and Baltimore Def. Im doing alrite. I was in last place but my team has come on strong these past couple (Manning is still shitting the bed though) and im not too far out of the money. Still a lot of football left. Ill keep ya posted. GOod luck. Go Steelers.
