    Hi,

Every time that I open sketchup 6 (pro), I get this error message...

3D Warehouse (warehouserubyextension.dll): could not load object from 3DWarehouseClient.dll (probably was not registered)

I click OK, and SU opens, and I'm able to go to the warehouse. Still, I'd rather not see that message every time.
What can I do to fix this irritation.
    Thanks
    Steve

      Hi Steve,

Do you have any WareHouse related plugin?

        Steve,

Did you recently upgrade from SU5 to SU6?

That '.dll' sounds like a 'carry over' from SketchUp 5. If you copy certain ruby files from a previous installation, to a new version-6 installation, you can cause problems when SketchUp gets to the plugin-initialization phase of starting up.

The best prevention is to NOT copy ALL the '.rb' files from a SU5 folder to a SU6 folder, but to install the plugins one-at-a-time. You may be able to fix your current set of plugins, by referring to this discussion from May of this year:

          Gaieus,

I have these files in my plugins folder...Enable3DWarehouse.rb
and WarehouseRubyExtension.dll. The error message showed up when I
got my new computer. Didn't see it before.

          thanks
          steve

            Taff,

I moved the ruby file out of the plugins folder, and I don't get the error message anymore...and the warehouse still works.

            thanks

            steve
