I already have a building, I want to tour my self through that building with the camera in First Person. This is not necessarily about FPS but about touring yourself in First Person mode. Do you know any free good engine that supports sketchup models to do this. The idea is like playing an FPS game.

SU has a 'walk' tool that might do what you want. If you just go camera->walk. From there you can change the eye height, and using modifier keys you can toggle various effects.

SU has the Walk tool, and the free SU Viewer has it too.

I don't know how it stands today, but there used to be a plugin (?) to Blender that was able to produce an EXE file of a model that worked like a game. I have only seen demo walkthroughs done with it, so I have no idea how the feat was performed, but they looked quite cool. A SU model can be brought into Blender at least via an OBJ or 3DS file.

I would love to have a stand alone that behaves like an FPS game.

What about exporting the model to a Game Engine like Unreal or Quake?

do i have to install quake or unreal engine just to view my models. My goal however is to be able to view it on a standalone app.

I played around a bit and it looks really good . I am waiting for some free time to explore it further.
here is a quick sequence I made:

Another commercial software. I also tried Reality4D and 3dRAD. However, the trial limitations of Walkabout3D will not cripple my purpose. But, is still trial, I think I could also give a go with Crytek and Oblivion game engines or maybe IrrEdit. Guys, do you know other free or open-source softwares that do this stuff?
