Old and New

Some of the architects here may enjoy watching these shots I (not too carefully) put together into a video.
This is the visitor centre of 8 Late Roman, Early Christian (4th century) buildings (cemetery chapels, crypt. etc.) on the excavation of which I used to work in 2005/2006.
The architect's concept was to clearly distinguish between the old, archaeological ruins and the new protection building and visitor centre thus the purist, concrete-metal-glass design.

(I thought a Requiem is a proper music for visiting a cemetery but then it got a bit corrupted while Picasa was created the video - sorry for that).

Beautiful. Well done.
Thanks.
