Thanks guys. The language issue to not that important
as long as we are willing to try and communicateMike

I understand some German (though would never dare to write a sentence in it Smile) so sometimes I also browse the German forum. Really nice to see it is so active.

My "mother tongue" is Afrikaans, kinda like Dutch / German I suppose as I can guestimate what is being said in both those languages, easier for the Dutch though.
-
Well, my mother tongue is Hungarian. Not even IndoEuropean language. Totally different approach to expressing ourselves than you guys have. You can imagine how hard for a small kid it is to start learning a foreign language...

Yes, I too should check the 'Deutchsprachige' forum more often. But there is so much to cover to keep track. Once in a while I do answer (in German) in other forums, re-addressing people to SCF (and/or SU Pro Help Group) for further help. Reading is the easy part for me. Writing is quite a different story.Gruss,

I tried the link and of course I got the "you are not authorized" page. When the forum changed I tried to join several of the language forums and it wouldn't let me. Can anyone help me out? I really miss this part of the world...in fact, I would love to have them all represented again when I hit "New Posts".

When I click on Mike's link I get "This topic does not exist" and Martin's comes up with "You are not authorised to view this forum"! What gives?
EDIT: Doh- just realised I have to join the Deutsch group to view the forum.

I have fixed the broken link in Mike's post.

Tom, are you saying you cannot join via your User Control Panel?
(Note that for some reason it only allows you to join one at a time so you may need to join one by one).
