Money? What money? The google site stipulates that the winners will be rewarded with good karma. The $2 million for each of the five chosen ideas will be RFP'd to outside companies for development. "thanks for the great idea kid, we'll take it from here"

I was referring more to peoples tendency to go '2 million, i could do a lot of good with that.' rather than coming up with a good idea first.
