Exporting Tiff or Png
-
Hello,
I've have try to export tiff and png from sketchup to use with Adobe Premiere. Eventhough, both files have the same setting setup, I'm getting different results. Exporting as png works just fine, however, exporting as tiff I'm losing alot of frames. For example, under the same settings when exporting for animation, I get 225 frames for png and 187 frames for tiffs. When I bring the images in Adobe Premiere my scenes skips and I'm getting glitches. Is anyone having the same problem when exporting tiffs. Thanks

Interesting. I have never exported a series of tiff's, so I don't know if its quirky. I've always just used .png files. Is there a reason you need to use tiffs?

I just tried exporting sequential images from a simple model as .png and .tif files. Both exported as expected with the same amount of frames. I did not take them into premiere though, as I don't have that available at school right now. Any more details? Want to post the sketchup file?

Skipping frames might just be a memory problem. SU exports tiffs in an uncompressed format, so they tend to be pretty big.

For me export quirks like incomplete files etc. often happen when I try to export to a network drive, and exporting to the desktop or a local folder then helps.
