Try going wondow->preferences->opengl and then toggling 'correct reverse picking'/'hardware acceleration.' It sounds as if one of those is causing your problem.

Also, is it grouped by any chance? And maybe you have painted the faces previously?

It cant hurt to post a pic, any chance you could post the model as well?

Oh, final thing to check: view->face style->shaded with textures (thats what it should be, if not change it to that.)

Are you trying to paint them a light beige colour? if so its already there. Its quite subtle, so i imagine if youve got your monitor setup slightly strangely you might miss it.

Perhaps its just the opposite then, and its just some strange shading going on in SU?

Upload the model. We'll check it out. I think it might be a group/component thing like gaieus suggested.

One thing that does happen is that sketch up twin faces things.
Have you tried deleting the face to see if there is one underneath?

The simplest way to solve this issue is to upload your problematic .skp (or part of it).
My guess is it's all because your avatar 🀒 Am I gettin' old?

It finnally painted the tongue! YAY! I went to check if there was another surface like tobobo was saying there might be. I deleted it noticed that there was not another surface so I undid and tried to paint it one more time. Then it finally popped it in. Maybe it was a glich or it didnt work lol. Anyway I really appreciate all the help you guys have helped me with. You guys R Teh Awesome! πŸ˜„ Thanks a bunch!
