Full screen mode?
-
Does anyone know a way of hiding all of the toolbars so that Sketchup will run in full screen mode? I'm doing a charity auction presentation where I need to manually switch between scenes with animated transitions. I can hide the various toolbars but need to hide everything as the model will be shown on several 60inch plasma screens! Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately there is no way toforce SU full screen.Even the SU Viewer cannot do that although it would probably not be very hard to program it that way.

You could always just turn of all the toolbars, this should hide pretty much everything, although youll still be left with the animation scene tabs. Alternatively, if you just want to show the animation you could export it and play it on windows media player (or a similar media player) that can go full screen, might take a while to export it that big though.

Hi,
You can do this with LayOut, if you have SketchUp Pro installed. Place your model on a clean page, and scale the viewport to be slightly larger than the page. "Select View > Full Screen" to go into full screen presentation mode. Double click on the model to enter the 3D view, and pick your scenes from the context menu. You can also play animations from the context menu.
