Hello... And Styles Browser Won't Open...!

Hi. My names Cully , and I'm a newbie here, although I've been using Sketchup for several years.
I'm having a weird problem. For some reason, my styles menu has disappeared. When I click on it in the drop-down menu, there's definitely a check by it showing it's on, or somtimes a dash that I've never seen before (which I'm assuming means it's closed). In either case, the styles browser doesn't appear.
I've tried everything I can think of, and I'd appreciate any ideas at this point.

i have always have had problems with the style
i think it was en error of the version 6
much better for you
i wish it happened to metry to re_install, its not so hard and you can get the problem solved.
but
unfortunately if you loose the styles you loose every control of the work

Thanks, JuanVictor. I did indeed end up re-installing, and it seems to have fixed it. What a pain in the booty, though...
