Shadows

I have tried opening it through window->shadows and I have also tried opening it through the shadows toolbar. I have closed all other windows and minimised SU but theres nothing there. I don't know what to do

Minimize will take the menus too: try "restore down" and then use the corners on the main SU window to make it tiny...?

Did you have the laptop plugged in to a 2nd monitor at any point? Its possible to lose it on an monitor that is no longer plugged in i think,

No I have never had a second monitor plugged in.

My idea was the same as Tom"s; it may be hiding somewhere behind your main SU window. But if you tried that,it cannot be the case.

Maybe another solution: try to set your monitor resolution to something higher. Once I had a naughty dialog window hiding not only behind the SU window but it got stuck belowthe area visible. This way I could get it back.

After thinking about it I remembered that I was at one point having difficulties with my monitor on my desktop so I did plug it into my laptop to see if it was the computer or monitor, but it was only to check the monitor. I didn't use any programs at that time. That being said I have now plugged in another monitor to the laptop to see if the dialog box is off the single screen but I still an unable to locate it.

I am already using the highest resolution so that idea will not work.
