what a beautyful image. the sunset simulation of maxwell is truly impressive.
and I like your design of the trainstaition a lot! reminds me a bit of the olympic stadion in Bejing.
great work, ibon!

Thanks for your words, Plot Paris. In my defense i have to say that it was designed earlier, it's vased on Tadeo Ando's work
. But herzog & de meuron's stadium is one of the greatest buildings i've ever seen, i love it -
oh no. I didn't mean it as an offence at all. In my opinion it is a good thing to get inspiration by other architect's works. your train station is an entirely new building after all (and I like it a lot).
seems to be a very early stage of design - the pure form is the centre of attention at that point, details not important yet. if you push it a bit further sometime, I would love to see some interior views!

maxwell 'should' interpret time/location from sketchup...so whatever the shadows are in sketchup..it should translate into maxwell...
-
Very nice image. What's the building's relationship to the train tracks?
-
ah ok, yes dont think that is possible..and probably never will be... best option is to render a small preview area within studio....
-
From the other side...
Thanks jason and Daniel. The problem is that i set the shadows in SketchUp and when i render it in Maxwell everything goes ok, but is i want to change the sun inside maxwell without exporting the model again its quite confusing, i cant see the shadows in real time.
The project isn't really a train station, is a building that leads you to the subway that leads to the real station that is at the other side of the train tracks.

Yes, that would be a solution... good idea
