      I'm breaking teeth try to use Whaat's ruby plugin UVtools..

      Has someone made a simple tutorial ?

        I have only tried it once when it came out but will have a look into it later to see how a tut could be put together about it (unless someone beats me 😄 )

            A simple text tutorial:

            1. Draw cylinder to apply texture to.

            2. Apply texture as normal.

            3. Right click->UV tools->cylindrical map.

            Few things to bear in mind: doesnt work in groups or on the backside of faces., the script will also automatically resize the texture to fit with no vertical tiling, so youll need to pre tile the texture in photoshop if you want it to go on a big cylinder.

            The process is the same for for a spherical map.
