Marian's W.I.P.s
-
somehow the teaser looked to me as if they follow the new idea of making things more "realistic", like in the new Bond movie or Batman begins in the super hero genre.
I liked, what I saw as a first glimpse in the teaser (but I loved "Serenity" and the "Firefly"-series as well )
-
I guess realism is a good thing...yeah i heard a lot of this firefly but haven't seen it yet. if it's scifi then it's cool
That firefly reminds me of another sseries i saw on tv a while back which was similar, it was about a crew of bounty hunters in the sol system using an old cruise ship which hid a few important secrets, like the secret of hyperspace flight and aliens, it was really cool but can't remember how it was called, anyone any ideas?Don't bother i've found it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starhunter
i've mostly seen season 1 too bad it only has 2 seasons. -
With more than a little help from Stefanq i made these renders of my peugeot car, in fact the first 2 are his.
-
WOW would you mind telling us how you did that?
-
Nice images.
Your rendering skills really show improvement. -
Double thanks , the quality is down to good settings and hdri images.
I still need to learn how to make a realistical scene though.
-
all im saying is its a bit too shiny but really good work
-
If they were less shiny they wouldn't look as real....

Here's the render
-
Awesome I like very much what did you yse for the render?
-
Marian, it seems you are quite good with environment maps now. nice render indeed
-
@dolphus: I used Vray.
@plot-paris: Thanks but it's actually very simple, and the scene it's not very well put together, the floor is not prefectly aligned with the picture. -
Front and back renders in a more suitable environment.
-
Marian, i just got vray like a week ago could you helpl me so it can be like yours? The enviroment i mean
-
You get hdri's from here:
http://newyorkpanorama.com/category/panorama/
http://www.openfootage.net/?cat=15
http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=113587You put these pictures in the emvironment tab , by pressing the 'm' buttons/ after that you have to choose bitmap in the left tab and the spherical in a option box up then right. There is another 'm' with which you chose and place your hdr pictures. You do the same thing both on skylight and background. And also consult the vray manual.
-
In the end, it seams that you find the best solution for the wheels! Still, I would love to See that one with white paint on it! Great work !

Another render
