      Hi all,

I'm trying to model a bubble lamp like this lamp
      http://www.ylighting.com/product-zoom-plus.html?http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/ylighting_2013_268248000&pageid=bub-ball

I have already created the "aluminium structure" but I'm having problems modelling the "paper" between.
I've already tried the soapskin plugin but that didn't do it. Anyone knows how to model this in 2 directions curved surface ?

      Thanks for the help

well, I tried with soap skin bubble and this was the result

(I used soap skin bubble with good results before but now it seems to put the normal plane in the wrong direction)

Any idea how to fix it ?

          thanks

aha , thanks for the help ! I guess the offset on contour is a plugin right ? Cause the sketchup offset doesn't do the trick. (is line on surface a plugin to or just a line drawn on the surface ?)

                    thanks !

                    getting there now πŸ˜„
