Chris, I installed Fry and unzipped the SU6 plugings and installed them into the correct folders. I am usng U6 pro and yet I do not see any icons or reference to them in plugins drop down menu.
I do have the .fry export facility which opens the Fry consol. -
That's strange. Are you sure you have version 1 ?
-
The latest one off the website (demo)
-
Try to activate toolbar from plug-ins menu, fry-menu >> show/hide fry toolbar
-
I do not have the fry-menu option in the plugins drop down menu.

strange, i have
Asian bridge by Sean Headrickyou install via this?...

- fry_su will only work on the PRO version of SketchUp
- Given the contents of the proper zip (su_5/fry_su.zip or su_6/fry_su.zip, depending on which version you're using):
- copy fry_su.dll file to <SketchUp folder>\Exporters
- copy fry_su_loader_SU#.rbs and Win32API.so files to <SketchUp folder>\plugins - Start SketchUp, if everything is ok, you should see a FRYRENDER entry under Plugins menu section
-
Solo, I can't give you an answer to your problem, besides checking your folders to see if all was installed well (the .dll files as Ilay said etc...).
Feversoft should open up their forum for the demo users. I asked them before...maybe I should askit again now the final version is out.

thank you very much, kwistenbiebel. with that detailed explanation of the worklfow you made me curious. I liked the maxwell interface in principal; but some things were a bit clunky. fry seems to be one step ahead in terms of interface/workflow...

Indeed, the nice thing is that you can open all these panels from within Sketchup.
No need to export your file first to a Studio to do editing there.By the way, the Fry manual has just been released.

Hi Everybody,
Still looking for a good Fryrender Sketchup tutorial. The screenshot did help me a lot so far, but still some issues. Sometimes materials wil render the default checkerd map ( Orange/black ) and not sketchup stone material. I also want to try displacement with some grass in Fryrender. Can enybody help me. Tips and tricks for Fryrender to Sketchup workflow would be awesome.

Hi.
Has anyone found a solution for the problem Solo mentioned earlier?
I've got Win XP 64 and the plugin doesn't work with the 64 bit Demo.
There isn't any menu or toolbar of Fryrender in Sketchup. But it doesn't give an error.
Thanks
