every time i open SU i have an install wizard for V Ray .It says it has expired and i need to enter the serial no . do i have to buy it or do i need it . if i do not need it how can i get rid of the install wizard message . do i need to delete all v ray folders/files

If you don't need to render than you don't need it...no need for buy.
Sketch Up will work and without it.
For remove go on Control Panel and Add or Remove Programs,find there V-Ray for Sketchup and just Remove. -
