      Hiya,

I'm new to this site and new to the use of Sketchup. However, I've encountered an odd result using FollowMe on a very simple task.

      1. Create 3D block of material with edges parallel to cardinal axes.

      2. Remove one corner using arc and push/pull tool on top surface.

      3. Draw small Arc on side surface so we can extrude around the block along
the top surface (as if it were routered or beveled)

(the path is the set of edges around the block's top surface, not the surface itself)

The FollowMe tool produces an inverted surface (blue color) along with a small extrusion beyond the block of material.

model is here: (3D Warehouse appears to be broken at the moment, so I'll post this rather than lose it)

Any insight would be much appreciated!

Hmm, very strange, works fine for me.

What size are you drawing this at? at very small sizes (under a mm or so) su can sometimes mess up drawing the faces.

I was also thinking it may be too small.

You can post your model here if you like.

          Welcome BTW. πŸ˜‰

Yeah, the model would be fine. Also I'm not sure your path is a 2D or 3D curve (in 3D SU gets screwed).

            Gai...
