Loading Podium Plugin into Google SketchUp (Free Version)

I loaded the free version of Google SketchUp onto my laptop and then tried to load Podium 1.5. The Podium software appeared to load and now lives in my C drive, however when I restarted SketchUp the plugin pull down never appeared.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG????? I have Vista, is that the issue? Please help.
