I need to design a booth. I have some of the basics down but I can't figure out how to get something to look like a screen. The booth would have a transparent background made out of basic door screen. Is there anything in sketchup that will give me that look? The other question I have is how to get this picture into a word doc. It is part of a business plan and it has to be with the rest of the stuff in word. I can't figure out how to import it.

To get it in to word, you just need to go file->export->2d then export it in an image format like ng or jpg. You can then put that in to your word document.

As for the screen, have you got a pic of something similar?

If you mean a bug screen, I'd suggest something like this.
It's a transparent png file. Just import it into SU, scale it to the correct mesh size, then you are good to go.
The easiest way might be to import it as a texture and paint it straight onto the panels you want to be semi-transparent.
