Adam thankyou!
The text on your site (face page) is not readable it appears about .3 points....

The text on the right side is small, but I can read it OK. How old are your eyes, Bruce?
Hmm, if you have MS Explorer set to reduce font size of web pages (View->Text Size -> Smaller) then it does come out pretty small. I'll look into it. Thanks.
Adam
Fixed. You may need to hit Refresh on Explorer to ensure its not using a cached copy.

This is done with V1.1 testing the space navigator. A lot of fun and it runs smoother than the flash file show. Tested on my 6 years old PC

Good work!!!
-
Thanks Adam, I DL the new version.
Is there anyway you can name the files with the version # ie:LightUpWin1.2 I don't usually like to overwrite files and I like to keep the old ones, just in case. Just a thought

Love to take a look but I can't open this on a Mac.

Just an all round good idea. Consider it on the todo list! (EDIT: now done)

Thanks,
AdamAwesome, thanks! I really hesitated to ask. I certainly don't want to tell you what to do and how to do it! I am really looking forward to playing around with the new version. Thanks for all your hard work!

Wow thats brilliant!
-
I've started a little gallery of LightUp lighting on the website here.
Aside from the one model courtesy of SCF's very own Coen Naninck, I think it demonstrates that I may be a dab hand at the technology but I'm no artist!
So if you've got any good LightUp pictures then lets be having them!Adam

I must be as smart as a box of rocks.

Edited to change it to: How do I get the light source component into an existing SKP file. I find it in the In Model library with a new model but not in an exisiting model.
-
I think those may be better answered in the LightUp Forum. They have one just like this one. Probably someone's already asked the question and it's been answered.
I don't mean to sound rude. If it came across as such, I apologize.Good luck

@DaveR, should be there. I open an existing model and the light sources are in the component window. No problems at all.
-
Thanks Burkhard.
I can see the components in the window when I open a new session but if I open a model drawn before LightUp was installed, they're no where to be seen. Hmmm...
-
Open the model in a new session?
Btw it is possible that the Icons are not shown correctly, you only see a frame. But you'll find a popup there, so it will work. For MAC Users: You'll find it if you go to the list view in the component browser. There is an issue showing it correctly as an icon.
-
That does work.
I suppose one must start with light before anything right?

-
Lights are mysterious as always

Adam, this is very slick but I have a question now. See the image below. After running LightUp, the cushions seem to lose their rounded edges. Is there something I can do to make the cushions keep their radiused edges?

-
Have no worries Adam, I'd say that Gallery will start to fill
up very soon.I had a look at your video tutorials and could not get the first
one, 'Getting Started with 1.2', to run. Can you have a look at it?Mike
