Purchasing Sketchup Pro?

Hi Guys,
I am looking at purchasing Sketchup Pro. I am currently using the free edition but want to make the step up to the Pro version to take advantage of some of the other features. The only question I have is, is it worth buying it now or waiting for the next release. I have a tendency to buy products only for a newer version to come out only a few weeks/months later. Does anyone know if there is to be a new release in the near future? If so i'll hold on. Also if there is, any info on new features?

Well there is certainly a version 7 in development but when it hits the shelves is anyone's guess. There has been much speculation and discussion, but Google SketchUp have done a good job at keeping people guessing
I certainly would not expect to see it for at least several months yet, but I really have no idea when. -
Just to follow up on what Dylan already have said...
I'm sure that if the new version will get released soon, you will get a free upgrade, if you purchase now...
If not the new version will come after 6-7 month, you should remember that the price for upgrade usually is much cheaper...
Besides, the USD is at its lowest level at the moment, so unless you're an American citizen, you should make a good deal anyway...

Id have to agree with dylan, its probably not worth hanging on, youll be waiting forever.
I imagine google will offer a discounted update to current pro users, so you cant go to wrong.
