Not sure how much/if any, of the 3D Connexion Space Navigator Ruby can be altered.

My thought/request is to have the center of rotation somehow dynamic.

      IE:
Initially set the center of rotaion as one normally would........then after a period of time [after initiating movement] have the center of rotation update [re set] either at the current/active camera position or a set distance forward of the active camera.

      Thoughts?
All the Best.....and many thanks to all the script writers.

I believe it's wrapped up in their 3D*.dll file (not ruby accessible).

I currently have mine set up to rotate around the location of my cursor. You can also set it up to rotate around whatever is currently selected. There's a few other rotation options (which I can't recall at the moment).

Well there must be a way to do it, but not by ruby script I think. If they just would make it the same as GE which has a dynamic center of rotation πŸ˜„
