cool renders frederik, a good model to render πŸ‘ my only suggestion for improvement would be to increase the poly count of the wing mirror, looks very blocky, especially in the larger image.

πŸ˜† I actually expected someone to comment on that, which is fine... πŸ˜‰
If you look at the thread I linked to at Google Groups, you would see that I haven't made the model myself... πŸ˜‰
To be honest, I really don't mind the low poly, cause you only see this when the model is close like in this render... If you use the model where it's just a part of the scene, you really don't notice it... πŸ˜‰

Besides... The idea wasn't to check the model, but the metalic car paint used for this render... πŸ˜‰

        Cheers

Kim - for an smoking infant you make nice car renders. The paint is cool and looks especially good on the sample.

              Regards, Ross

It would be interesting to see how (or if) paint will sparkle in a vid if you pan camera around the car.

                Cheers!

                  Trust me it will... πŸ˜‰
But I'm not going to make a 5 sec animation, cause that will mean 121 (frames) x ~23 minutes = app. 46 hours render time... 😲

Im not entirely sure, but the first place to look would be the kerkythea downloads area. I believe theyve got a good selection of materials available there.

But let me check and see if we can release it... πŸ˜‰

Please note that this material doesn't work inside SU... ❗ (if that was what you were looking/hoping for...?!)
                            It's a material used for Kerkythea... πŸ˜‰

You can download it from our repository in the KT Material library section... πŸ˜„

                            Enjoy..!! πŸ˜„

                                Hi Ray,

Unfortunately I can't, since it isn't my model... I feel it would be wrong of me sharing it... 😐
If you look at the first post in this thread, you'll see that the model belongs to Michael Firkins...

I suggest that you send a PM to him and ask... πŸ˜‰ His username here at SCF is "firkins"... πŸ˜‰

I can also recommend that you check the 3D Warehouse, where you can find many nice looking Mustang's... πŸ˜„

                                Cheers
