      Jon posted an excellent tutorial on making seamless textures (thank you, Jon!). Reading it, I thought: dang, if anybody would post something as clear as this on making displacement maps, I'd be truly grateful.

      So ... if you have something lying around, please do post it - and bask in the warm glow of my gratitude. πŸ˜‰
