I just began work at a new job and the second i begin using sketchup i notice a problem, sketchup wont make arcs, it breaks them down into a line split at the center of where the arc should be, maybe im missing something here but any suggestions?

A bit more info would be useful (pic?), but by the sounds of it it's just normal SU behaviour.

Su is a polgon modeller, so everything in it is just composed of lots of lines with faces in between them. This means that arcs, circles and curvy stuff in general is actually made up of lots of small lines very close together, to give the impression of an arc/curvy surface.

              Click the Arc's icon
Enter on the numeric keyboard the wished number (48 for example)+ Enter
              Draw your arc
You will have a cool smoothed arc ☀
number entered is written on the little window right bottom corner screen!
