I created simple Refrigerator, made it a component, and exported to SketchUp / Component / Architecture file. My component doesn’t show when I restart SketchUp. What is the proper way to create my own component library?

        Hi ridix,

When you open the component dialogue box, you can open the "secondary selection pane as well (see attached image with the button & tooltip).

When that is open (like in the picture), you can have different folders open in each pane. My upper pane has "In model" open (the little house icon) while the lower one has some architecture library from the Components folder of my SU App.*

Here you can simply drag & drop components from one pane to the other.

*Another way is to simply go to the Components folder under Google/Google SketchUp 6/Componets and simply copy your saved skp files there (components are practically skp files located there).

Thanks it worked. I managed to copy and recalled my object in component dialog box.
